Players take control of the fox on a poignant and beautiful journey that crescendos at the source of life, and perhaps result in an understanding of death. The First Tree is a third-person exploration game centered around two parallel stories: a fox trying to find her missing family, and a son reconnecting with his estranged father in Alaska. The first tree features platform gameplay and puzzles.
Here, the existence of all life on earth is connected with the world tree. The passage is carried out for the fox, which will be able to understand what death is, only approaching the source of life. As the story progresses, the paths of these two characters intersect, acquiring an unexpected ending. The game is a quest in which the fox is looking for his family, and the boy wants to find his dad. Two storylines are closely intertwined in The First Tree.
